- FactClash is a free game, played for fun. Be kind, play fair.
- Questions and scores are made and checked automatically and can occasionally be wrong.
- Do not type anything offensive, or anyone's personal details.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By using FactClash (factclash.com), run by Praneeth Kalluri ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use FactClash.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
3. The game
- FactClash is free. There are no prizes, and points, levels and leaderboards have no money value.
- Questions, answer keys and scores are created and checked automatically. We work hard to keep them accurate, but mistakes can happen. Please do not rely on FactClash for important facts.
- We may change, pause or remove features at any time. We do not promise that the game will always be available.
4. Playing fair and being kind
You agree not to:
- use nicknames, topics or answers that are offensive, hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, illegal, or that pretend to be someone else;
- share anyone's personal details, including your own;
- cheat. This includes bots, scripts or automation, trying to trick the scoring, and using several devices to fill leaderboards;
- attack, overload, scrape or try to break into FactClash, or get around its limits;
- send invite links to people who do not want them.
We may remove content, hide names, reset scores or block access if these rules are broken.
5. What you type
You keep any rights you have in your nicknames, topics and answers. You let us use them to run the game, which means showing them to other players, on leaderboards and on share cards, and to improve FactClash. This permission ends when the content is deleted under our Privacy Policy.
6. Our game
The FactClash name, logo, design and software belong to us. You are welcome to share screenshots, score cards and links to FactClash.
7. No warranty
FactClash is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it being accurate, available or error-free.
8. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses, and our total liability to you is limited to 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in the UK, the EU or another country with consumer protection laws, you keep the protection of the laws of your home country and can bring a claim there.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for important changes we will show a note in the game. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
