   • Bowser is usually the one who captures her.
   • Mario often sets out to rescue Peach.
   • The rescue is a recurring Super Mario story premise.
3. Warm-up

   Mario’s brother has his own unmistakable look: what’s his name, and what color is his signature outfit?

4. Warm-up

   Mario grabs a Super Mushroom mid-adventure: what happens to his size, and what extra hit can he then take?

How scoring works

• Each question has 2 or 3 key facts. Each one earns full, half or no credit, so a wrong answer scores zero.
• Later questions are worth more, fast answers earn a bonus, and great answers in a row build a streak.
• A famous myth or a clear factual error halves the points.
